Located in the scenic Texas Hill country The Garden Tea Room Restaurant is just south of
picturesque San Marcos. Home of Southwest Texas State University, San Marcos is where former president
Lyndon B. Johnson attended college. The spring fed San Marcos river gently flows through the middle of town
where you can rent tubes and kayaks to ride the river through town. Thirty miles to the north is
Austin the state capitol of Texas. And thirty miles to the south is San Antonio the home of the
Alamo. So if you are out seeing the sights or looking for some place original to eat,
The Garden Tea Room is a friendly place to stop in and have lunch and homemade dessert.
It is nestled in the back corner of the Antique Outlet Center. The Antique Outlet Center building
is located near the discount shopping outlet mall on interstate highway 35.

The Garden Tea Room serves an assortment of soups, salads, and sandwiches for your dining
enjoyment. Lunch specials are available daily. To view our menu click the "Menu" button above. High Tea is the specialty of our
small, intimate restaurant. A meal served in several courses that you must try. Our
delicious homemade desserts are a very special treat. Catering, cakes, pies, and

restaurant features a professional staff of friendly people, who will
